x-mas and other stuff

Well these pics are a little out of order, but all well. We bought these awesome pajamas off of old navy. I absolutely love them! Later that day when I tried to show them off they were sold out. I love to dress him in awesome clothes, and these are awesome.

We tried rice cereal for the first time. He didn't like it too much, so we waited a few weeks and tried again. He didn't dislike it. He almost ate the whole batch/bowl. I say almost because I think more came out than went in. He gets it in his mouth and then tries to do a sucking motion. I am sure with time he will get the hang of it. I thought I would hate the mess of feeding him, but I honestly love it. For some reason things that normally gross me out I find endearing on this little one.

O'Ryan snagged this one the other day. He can now roll from back to belly, but not belly to back. He does it really well and almost immediately. He was playing with what we call his play gym and he rolled over, started sucking his thumb, and quickly fell asleep. I was sleeping from working the previous night. O'Ryan said he didn't sleep for very long, but what a great pic.
I love this. Hopefully LuJean doesn't get mad. A few weeks ago we actually both had the night off. Grandma Jeanie offered to babysit for us and we went and saw Sherlock Holmes. The movie was great! We came home to this on our couch. They were both passed out. I love it!
We had an awesome x-mas. Here are a few of the things we got. My parents bought this for Gabe. He isn't tall enough to sit in it yet, but we hold him in front of it and he loves it. The great thing about it is the chair comes off so they can use it as they get older.
This is what santa got for Gabe. He is a little to young for it still, but he will get bigger.
He loves this snail. It sings and says stuff when you hit it.
We got an ice-cream maker from my sister.
I finally bought O'Ryan a new phone. We have had the same phones for years and years. I upgraded his.
We also got some toys for Gabe and a lot of books. Grandma Jeanie made him some awesomely cute blankets. My sister got O'Ryan some of the great shirts he is always wearing, and even got some matching for O'Ryan and Gabe to wear together. I worked the night before and after x-mas so we did a small breakfast with just us when I got off work. Overall it was a great holiday. I loved spending time with my boys.
In other news O'Ryan is still in school and working like a crazy person. It is hard to not see each other so much, but it's what is best for our little one right now. We can't wait until he gets a job with a police department, then he will only be working one job instead of two.
