Almost a new year

It seems like only yesterday it was almost 2008. O'Ryan had nose surgery on the 18th and is doing great! He got his stints out and says he is breathing a lot better than before. His surgery was not cosmetic, it still looks the same he just had a deviated septum, a really bad one. I told him the next time he has surgery lets try and not have me pregnant at the time. I can't believe how tired I am. Luckily I have not had to bad of nausea. I get it sometimes but have still kept everything down. Next week we go see my ob for the first time. I am so excited. I'm also so impatient. I want to be able to see everything on an ultrasound already, but I know that's not going to happen.

We also went and looked at cribs, changing tables, play pens, etc. today. There is a lot of really cool stuff out there. We just have to decide what type of things we want for the nursery. I hope there will be an easily findable heart beat at this appt. but my understanding is when your not very far along sometimes it's really hard/impossible to find one. It's weird being pregnant and not feeling anything other than sick and tired. I'm so excited and can't wait till I can feel the baby moving. (It is the baby for now since we don't know gender, and I am not going to start calling it a him or her till we know for sure.)

August 20th

My hubby and I are expecting our first baby!!! we are so stoked. The due date according to last period is August 20th. I was going to wait to tell O'Ryan until christmas but just got way to excited. I made reservations at Johnny Carino's and arranged for the waiter to bring a x-mas gift bag full of this stuff with our appetizers. It was great!

At first he had this look on his face like "what the hell?" then his eyes got really big and excited and he asked "are you" and i said yes. It was great. He then told me he was thinking, "why is she giving me baby stuff.

Later we went and told his mom with flowers and an x-mas card. Inside the card it said "Merry christmas" and i wrote " oh by the way you're going to be a grandma again." She of coarse started to scream and jump up and down.

Everyone is very excited, but not as excited as we are.

For those of you interested in my crafts this means I need to hall ass and get everyone else's bibs done so I can do my own. Also I will be cross stitching a birth announcement for myself. That is a cute picture with the baby's name, birthdate, pounds and ounces, and sometimes length.

Whoops!

As you can all see the post below this one says no I'm not pregnant. This was supposed to be followed by what I'm about to write, but i accidentally hit enter, and it posted. lol.
Anyhow, I'm not pregnant but all of my friends at work are... So as some of you know they all get to enjoy my craftiness with some home decorated bibs. This is how I've been spending all of my spare time lately. I also recently finished an awesome cross stitch for my hubby's school which is now getting custom framed. I will post pics when we get it back.

There is an adorable cow that goes with the pig. I try to do the bibs in sets of two that go together. I'm still working on the cow, and will post pic when it's done.

No I'm not pregnant!

My vent about bras

So I went to Lane Bryant the other day. This is the only place that I buy bras. When I was a lot younger I did not care what bras I bought as long as they were really cute. (Which is kinda funny because no one ever saw my bras.) But after joining the D + size club you care a lot less about what they look like and how they support you. Well there is one specific type of bra that I buy. It looks like it has under wire and supports like an under wire, but there is no wire to dig into your ribs all freaking day. Also as the bra starts to wear out there is no wire poking out the side. Anyhow as I was looking I asked one of the ladies there where they were. She said, " I'm not sure, I'm new." and asked another lady. Long story short THEY ARE DISCONTINUING THEM!!!! This really makes me mad because they are the only bras I have worn for YEARS. So the point of this vent is for all the ladies that may read my blog.... I need to find new bras that I Love. I don't really care what they look like, but they must be supportive and not give me uniboob. If anyone has suggestions please post. I am not in a crisis need... yet.

TKD kicker

So this is the inside of O'Ryan's school. As you can see he has done an excellent job painting a kicker on the wall. I guess he is going to paint some mountains behind it, but I think it looks fantastic. The kicking bars are also up. These are used to improve kicking technique so one doesn't have to worry about balancing. Contrary to what that sounds like it doesn't make it any easier on your legs. It's easier because you are not flailing around (ok so maybe only I flail around) but your muscles definately feel it. One of O'Ryan's students put the bars up and they also look fantastic. The school looks so classy. I can't wait to get some of my cross stitches hanging back up on the walls.

Nada.

No pics this time. Just posting for the sake of posting. O'Ryan's school is going great he is by a lot of dance studios and is getting people stopping by for their sons. I'm still working a lot at the hospital and thinking about starting a second job picking up some agency shifts here and there. (For those of you who don't know what that is think temp work that pays great) So things are status quo. I am very grateful that the road construction has finally finished and I can ride my bike to work now. I don't do it all the time but it's nice to have the option.

The school is open!

The city finally approved everything and O'Ryan's TaeKwonDo school is now open for business. These are some pics I took before we had everything set up. It is so great. It is located on Redwood Road just north of 10600 south next to the post office. Next time I go I'll take better pics of everything set up. Yay!!!!

First post. This is O'Ryan doing what he loves the most besides me. Tae Kwon Do. We are hoping to open at his new location this week. We are sick of waiting for the city to finish approving everything so that the spot can get finished, but what do you do. I started back up with it last week and boy are my legs feeling it. You don't realize what muscles you don't use until you start using them more. Well that's it for now. I will slowly try to get more posts and pics up for everyone, but mostly for Stacy so she stops harassing me about it at work.
