New ultrasound pics

Earlier in the week I met with the high risk ob/gyn again and we did another ultrasound. Everything still looks great. Gabriel is measuring at a little over 2 lbs. He still has a due date of late August.

I am starting to feel really pregnant. I can't breath... I mean literally I have to stop in conversations sometimes to catch my breath. Gabriel is sitting much higher than Michael did. On the flip side of that it doesn't put as much pressure on my bladder. : ) I am Also starting to get the foot swelling. Soon I will probably need to put on yet another layer of clothes and wear some ted hose.

He is definitely a mover and a shaker. He likes to wiggle worm the most when I am trying to fall asleep. I love every little bump and kick.

No other news to update for now, but I will keep everyone posted.

Cardiac echo, and other news

Well I will put the biggest news first. We had our cardiac echocardiogram at primary childrens. Everything looks great. As of right now they can't see any heart defects. The cardiologist made sure to tell us that doesn't mean something won't develop at birth, but everything is good to go right now. Gabriel was really good and even though he moved a lot he kept his arms and legs out of the way so they could get some really great pics.
In some other news we both start summer semester on Monday. Bleh is all I have to say about that. The less than two week break was simply not enough for me. In case you haven't heard O'Ryan is also going back to school. He is seeking a degree in Criminal Justice. Luckily some of the classes we have to take overlap. So we are taking them together so we only have to buy one book. : ) books are way overpriced in my opinion. He will probably be able to get his entire associates degree online, then he is planning on going on for his bachelors which will also probably be online. The only thing he will probably have to go in for is to test out of some of the classes, and the boot camp type thing. I know that's not what it is called but I can't remember the name right now (something about all my blood flow being in my uterus instead of my brain.) Anyways it's the physical part of the training. He is pretty excited about it.
No other news to report right now. Everything with Gabriel looks great. In a month or so we will check for gestational diabetes. And shortly after that we will be down to our every two week checks. At the end of Michael's pregnancy we were going in twice a week for ultrasounds. As much as I like my OB I don't want to see her THAT much. We will just have to see how things progress.
