Santa pics. : (

Well today was going to be the day. We were going to go see Santa and get some pics taken. Unfortunately little guy is sick. He has his first cold/virus. He is being a trooper, but as much as I wanted to get Santa pics done.... I wouldn't want to go do it if I didn't feel good, so I am not going to make Gabe do it either. We will just have to do it next year.

3 month/ x-mas pics

We found this fantastic photographer. She did Gabe's newborns and has a great deal where she does every three months. Check her out at ambergoddardphotography.blogspot.com

Here are some of Gabe's 3 month pics. We absolutely love them.

Thanksgiving and baby blessing

This is his elf pajamas.
Last week on Sunday we did Gabe's baby blessing. I just love the outfit we got for his blessing. It was perfect!

More elf pajamas. I'm not the best at loading my pics on here. They get mixed up sometimes. The flash was a little much on his face, but the outfit is still cute. If you can't tell I really like to have a snazzy dressed little one.

Lol this was his thanksgiving outfit. O'Ryan says I am obsessed with things on his butt, but come on how could anyone resist these pants.

He is such a great baby! He is really calm for the most part. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing this little guy smile and laugh.

We are done with this semester of school Woo Hoo!!! Only a hundred more to go, not really but it feels like it sometimes.

Coming soon.... x-mas pics and santa pics. : )

teddy bear baby

These are his cow pants.
I love this thing. My mom bought it for him to keep him warm on excursions outside. The awesome part is we have a winnie the pooh one that O'Ryan's brother and his wife gave us, but he is not quite big enough for that one. He will go from being one bear to another bear.

He is starting to hit and grab at things. They learn so fast!

Halloween and update

The pediatrician said we could start taking Gabe out and about, so we took him to church last week. This is him all dressed up for it.

He was a tiger for Halloween, it seems kind of silly that we bought him a costume even though he didn't go out for Halloween, but it was really cute and I couldn't resist.

I went back to work on Friday. BLEH! I feel like crap. I still work graveyards, and I had a physical with my doctor before work. Needless to say I didn't get a nap before going Friday night, and with getting up every few hours to feed Mr. Hungry Mungry didn't get much sleep between shifts the next few nights. Also as anyone who has ever worked graves will tell you it takes a while to get used to them, and having not had to do them for 12 weeks, I will need to get used to staying up all night again. I'm sure the headaches will eventually go away.

In other news I am starting to train for a 5 K next spring. I know it seems silly to put it on here, but if I write it down for everyone to see I will have to do it. I am starting off with walking for now, but will be running it in May to benefit breast cancer research. I have never ever been a runner. Swimming, yes, running, no. I am excited to be trying this out.

Not much else to report. O'Ryan is still in school, as am I. Although I am only taking one class now, and then one more next semester. I got accepted to the U of U BSN program, but put it on hold since I was having Gabriel. I will reapply, but I think I am going to wait for O'Ryan to finish his degree first, especially since I won't even get a raise for getting my BSN. We are both exhausted and looking forward to the day we can all sleep through the night.

Pictures and other news

I finally got some pictures with him smiling really well. He has smiled since the first day he was born, but I haven't been able to get pics of him doing it yet.

So these pictures are kind of random and some of you might be wondering WTF??? well the story behind this is... I had to make a sculpture out of things that were recycled/found. After wondering the D.I. this is what I came up with. I know it is horrible. But our cat decided she needed to eat it, so my husband had the statue "attack" our cat. Not really attack, he just kept putting it next to her.

This is just to show off our fancy dressed little guy.

O'Ryan put Gabe in the boppy to give him a command center. This is how it looked. He actually kind of likes it.
